OK - I thought I'd take a deep breath and start this one.

There is one theme in Andromeda which always fascinates me but doesn't seem to be reflected in the vids - that is the 'alpha male' thing
- especially between Tyr and Dylan (great 'little chats') but it crops up again with Rhade and then of course the Patriarch, Charlemaine Bolivar (however that's spelt!) and Dylan's opposite in 'In Heaven Now Are Three'.

I'm sure there are a few others if I thought about it. I always thought that they managed to nail the body language when these were plotting or exchanging words - lots of great posturing, and meaningful glances.

I have no idea whether there would be enough of the right clips or what music it would be set to. In fact part of the joy of Discovering all these vids is that I am Discovering new music that I have never heard before and a lot of it I love

- you always seem to pick well. My music library is bursting at the seams and I think I should get special mention in the Amazon board room! :roll:

...and if you ever get bored of Andromeda, a bit of Firefly never goes amiss........ :twisted:

ooo i like this idea! definitely will be on my to do list. i have one vid on the mental stove and one waiting in the wings. but yes i really like this idea. no not like. LOOOVE. :XD

hmm...i gotta start searching for a hot song to match. and i know what you mean. i didn't know many of these artists or songs until i started making vids.

firefly. yessss. i recently got into that and now i love

it! when i have more time in the summer i may make one. or i'll make one for my final project (i'm taking a class at college on firefly. yes there's a class.

). we'll see.

It should spur me into more action over my computer which, sadly, is still not playing your vids (just the sound) :cry:

. I've tried the codecs, fixed lots of other small probs and I've still got a few more theories to try so at the moment I'm still hopeful.

Firefly class? Superb. The thing I love

most about this show is the script. Your English course sounds great, real opportunities for good practical work. Don't let us distract you too much 'cos you have real great talent there. <bowdown>

btw -

- got to ask this 'cos it's been driving me nuts - what is the definition of 'shipper' when used in the context of the vids? (Yes, I feel really dull but every time I think I've got it sussed someone uses the term and my definition doesn't apply any more...)

Oh are you still having problems? Hmmm...my dad said that if you only get sound with a green screen it just means you need to update your Windows Media Player to the latest version (which you can probably do at their website). Then the videos should play with no problem...hopefully. If you were able to watch before and recently reformatted your computer or something, it would've reverted to the original Windows Media Player, so updating it should solve this issue.

Yup, it's a Firefly decal class, meaning student-run and we get 2 units for it. We watch one episode every week and discuss the Asian-American impact on the show. It's actually pretty deep and fun.

Ahhh "shipper" just means someone who is in favor/likes a certain pairing or couple. Can also be also used as "ship" (noun or verb). :no1:
